Encore Business Solutions Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation
WINNIPEG, MB, Canada – January 4th, 2010 – Encore Business Solutions ("Encore") proudly enters its twentieth year of business marking two decades in the technology industry - an industry that has seen much growth and change in those 20 years. Encore originally started in 1990 with two people working part time. In twenty years, the company has grown to a $5.6M company with 35 employees and has received accolades within the Microsoft and Manitoba business community.
Since Encore’s inception, the company has been involved with Great Plains Software which was then acquired by Microsoft in 2000 and renamed Microsoft Dynamics GP. Today, Encore has a special relationship with Microsoft. The company resells the Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems of AX, GP and CRM. They also have developed their own products that work seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics GP improving users’ efficiencies. In addition, Encore has sold intellectual property to Microsoft and does contract work for them on a regular basis.
